OSENC is a custom epoxy coated neodymium magnet manufacturer producing Disc, Block, Ring, Cylinder, Arc, Countersunk and drawing-based non-standard geometries. Our confirmed epoxy coating thickness range is 15–40 μm, with finished dimensional tolerance of ±0.10 mm standard and ±0.05 mm tight for suitable geometries.
We treat the magnet and the coating as one engineered part. Grade, geometry, magnetization, coating system, color, working temperature, assembly fit and service environment are reviewed together before production.

OSENC selects the coating stack around the actual exposure and dimensional requirements. We do not use one generic “epoxy” specification for every project.
Epoxy coating performance cannot be reduced to one corrosion-resistance slogan. OSENC separates coating thickness, finished dimensional tolerance and environmental test performance so each requirement can be released and inspected independently.
| Engineering Parameter | OSENC Reference | Release Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Spessore del rivestimento epossidico | 15–40 μm | Confirmed production range; final target is set from the drawing, protection requirement and dimensional stack-up. |
| Coating Thickness Tolerance | Current engineering reference ±3 μm | Provisional. It must be confirmed in the quotation or sample validation plan before production release. |
| Standard Finished Tolerance | ±0.10 mm | Applied to the finished epoxy-coated part. |
| Tight Finished Tolerance | ±0.05 mm | Used for suitable geometries where fit and assembly clearance require tighter control. |
| Minimum Coated Magnet | Current engineering reference Ø1 × 0.5 mm | Provisional. Final feasibility depends on geometry, magnetization, coating build, handling and sample validation. |
This salt-spray result is a published test reference for the tested samples and conditions. It is not a universal service-life guarantee for every epoxy-coated magnet. Geometry, edge condition, coating stack, substrate preparation, assembly damage and exposure conditions can change corrosion behavior.
Epoxy coated magnets are a strong fit for OEM and industrial projects where the NdFeB surface needs additional protection from humidity, moisture or intermittent water exposure and the coating can remain intact during assembly and service.
For weak acid, weak alkali, oil or cleaning-media exposure, OSENC matches the coating system to the chemical type, concentration, temperature and exposure time instead of using one broad “chemical resistant” claim.
OSENC does not force standard epoxy into applications where the failure mode is obvious. When the service condition exceeds the practical boundary of a conventional epoxy surface layer, we move the project to a more suitable coating or encapsulation system.
Epoxy protection only works when the finished part meets the drawing and the coating remains continuous. OSENC therefore controls finished dimensions, coating thickness, surface integrity, adhesion and magnetization as part of the finished-part inspection route. Confirmed coating range is 15–40 μm; finished dimensional tolerance is ±0.10 mm standard and ±0.05 mm tight for suitable geometries.
L / W / D / T and other critical dimensions are inspected after coating so the part is controlled in the same state in which the customer receives and assembles it.
OSENC checks the released epoxy thickness requirement together with visual condition and surface integrity. The confirmed coating range is 15–40 μm. The current ±3 μm coating-thickness tolerance is an engineering reference and is confirmed project by project before production release.
Axial, diametrical, through-thickness, length, width and special multipole directions are confirmed against the approved project requirement before packing.
Packaging is configured around magnetic force, size and quantity to reduce magnet-to-magnet collision, edge chipping and coating scratching. Separators, foam or individual isolation are used according to the product.
Send the finished dimensions, tolerance, grade, magnetization, coating requirement and service environment. OSENC will review the complete coated magnetic component, including coating build, finished fit and QC requirements.

OSENC supplies N35, N38, N40, N42, N45, N48, N50 and N52 grade families, together with M / H / SH / UH / EH temperature-grade series. The final grade is selected around magnetic performance, temperature, geometry and the magnetic circuit.
Disc, Ring and Cylinder magnets can use Axial or Diametrical magnetization. Block magnets can be magnetized Through Thickness, Length or Width. Special structures can use Multipole Magnetization when the geometry and magnetic design support it.
Yes. OSENC controls critical dimensions in the coated finished state. Coating build-up is included in the dimensional stack when the magnet fits into a narrow gap, housing or precision assembly.
OSENC supplies NdFeB + Epoxy and NdFeB + Ni-Cu-Ni + Epoxy, together with other composite protection structures for projects requiring a different corrosion, adhesion or surface-protection strategy.
Yes. Black Epoxy is a core option, and OSENC also supports White, Grey and custom color projects as part of the coating specification.
Corrosion performance is tied to the actual coating system and test requirement. For salt-spray projects, OSENC works against the specified test method, duration, sample condition and acceptance criteria rather than treating one unqualified hour value as a universal guarantee.
OSENC's confirmed epoxy coating thickness range is 15–40 μm. The current ±3 μm coating-thickness tolerance is a provisional engineering reference and is confirmed in the quotation or sample validation plan before it is released as a production requirement.
OSENC adotta ±0,10 mm come tolleranza dimensionale standard sul pezzo finito e ±0,05 mm come tolleranza stretta per le geometrie idonee con rivestimento epossidico. Questi valori si applicano al pezzo finito rivestito.
In the published reference test, samples were exposed to 5% NaCl solution at 35°C under continuous spray. No visible rust was observed after 24 hours. Localized corrosion began on individual samples after 48–72 hours. After 408 hours, corrosion remained concentrated mainly at corners and edges, with average mass loss of 0.907%.
Ø1 × 0.5 mm is the current provisional engineering reference. It is not released as a universal minimum; final feasibility depends on geometry, magnetization, coating build, handling and sample validation.
OSENC uses separated protective packaging configured around magnet size, magnetic force and quantity. Separators, foam or individual isolation are used to reduce magnet-to-magnet collision, edge chipping and coating scratching.
Send the shape, dimensions, tolerances, grade, magnetization direction, coating system, color, working temperature, environment and quantity. OSENC will review the complete magnetic part and move the project into engineering quotation.
